On September 4, 2022, the award ceremony of the Friedrich-August-von-Hayek-Stiftung took place at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. In a year marked by geopolitical tensions, the foundation honored leading personalities who stand up for freedom and democratic values.

Ingrida Šimonytė, Kaja Kallas and Arturs Krišjānis Kariņš were awarded the International Prize of the Friedrich-August-von-Hayek-Stiftung. Andreas Rödder received the Publishing Prize of the Friedrich-August-von-Hayek-Stiftung.
